Woke up this morning--had slept clear until 6!--and saw that the series finale of The Boys had dropped.

Glad I'm done with that.  Had to get to the end, though.
Yeah I stopped watching somewhere toward the end of Season 3.  I liked it, it just was getting to be the same thing over and over.  I've considered going back to it, but if I wasn't interested enough to continue a couple years ago, not sure why I would be now.

From what I've read, a lot of nothing happened in the final season, and then a lot of nothing continued to happen.

Lots of grisly deaths, lots of slanted political jabs (guess which slant).  If you want spoilers to save the 16 hours watching seasons 4 and 5, I can at least remember what I saw this morning.

Nah, thanks anyway.

I've abandoned quite a few series recently.  Some because they got progresively worse, some because they got progressively more political, some because I lose interest, some because it's just too long in between seasons and I don't remember everything and then I'm faced with rewatching earlier seasons just to remember what's going on and I ain't got no time for any of that.
