Do y'all get those Jimmy Dean frozen microwaveable sausage/egg/cheese biscuits up there?  I'll admit that those are a guilty pleasure for me.
Bob Evans,same-same,just never cared for breakfast sausage that much.In a pinch I always liked BK's Bacon/Egg/Cheese croissant but the micro's will do the trick

We get Bob Evans and Jimmy Dean here, and we did in Chicago/Wisconsin too. There are some others doing it too, like Special K, for example.

My wife gets me the ones with turkey sausage.

The wife it seems nearly always wants something changed, or added, or finagled.

I frequent the McDonalds halfway to my work, as I go in early and nothing else is open.  The original egg mcmuffin is one of the nastiest things i've ever eaten.  I can sometimes get something with their scrambled egg on it, but not that egg white crap with a tiny sliver of ham?  Who came up with that??  It's god-awful.

I get the sausage mcmuffn with no egg.  And about pricing - the cost of a hash brown there is now comical.  I swear, in just the past month, it's gone from 1.49 to 1.79 and now 1.99.  Because of the deal they have, 1 hash brown now costs the same as 2 sausage mcmuffins.

Anyway, I usually toss the top half of the muffin out so the meat-to-bread ratio is better.  If i'm feeling adventurous, I'll place the hash brown in the sausage mcmuffin - that's hearty.  And heart diseasy.

New Coke.

Yeah but has there ever been another burger where there was a barrier between the meat and the cheese? I'm not even talking about the cheese being on the cold side, which is rather peculiar in it's own right. But they didn't even have the cheese as the top layer, so that it is the first thing that comes in contact with the meat once you put it together. Instead it had two tomatoes between the meat and the cheese, and then the lettuce on top of the cheese.

That's just effed up, man.

Along with autonomous, would change things a lot.
As I've said, I plan to keep my Ford Flex at the very least until child #1 leaves the house... He just turned 13.

Which puts me roughly in the car market again sometime around 2026, at which time I believe the cost and infrastructure of EV should hopefully be in line where I have it as an option. At that point (wherever I'm actually living) I also plan to again be a homeowner and as the kids age out and my child support payments go away, I'll be in a better place to afford an EV even if they're not as low in price as I'd like.

I sure wish the ex would find someone who would put up with her shit--would save me a hell of a lot each year in alimony.

Not yet, anyway.  I guess in France it's more common to deliver some kind of highly personalized order, even though the term "menu" there means "combo meal".

It causes a disturbance in the force every time.

She also insists on tapping her credit card instead of just swiping it, I have no clue why.  I guess it's a new thing.  She'll stand there tapping with the guy telling her it isn't working for 30 seconds.  I would guess the success rate is maybe 15%, and time taken is significant.

Just swipe the dang card or let me pay.

At least at our French restaurant, most of the servers are French.

Yes, very much, with some exceptions, like when traveling.  Fast food is the Devil.

There are more EVs sold (new) today than cars with manual transmissions (neither is very high of course).

If you compare say a Chevy Volt with a Chevy Cruze today, the calculus favors the latter by quite a bit.  If someday they cost the same, operating costs would favor the EV, even with $2 gas.  Of course, it would behoove owners to pay for a home charging station.

Be careful with that Yuengling. If his ticker is already pushed to the limit, his shock at the explosion of flavor in a Yuengling compared to his yellow fizzy water might just push that ticker over the edge.
