It is fact that those numbers would look a whole lot worse if you took out Indiana and Wisconsin. That's where the majority are/have been headed.

I'm fascinated by how fast the area around me is growing.  I don't know if the pace changes after COVID or not, it might.

 I've never lived in an area with so much construction.  Of course, the city of ATL is a minor part of the metro area.

There's sort of an irony in competing to see which places can become the most crowded. Like, I've never sat in Chicago traffic and thought "Damn, it would be great if there were more people here."

Granted, I've also lived in dying industrial towns, and those weren't super either.
