I took this yesterday.  They are building another crane in order to take this leaning crane down, probably take most of the weekend.  This is less than a mile from us, the Whole Foods entrance on the right was shut down.  I think one could enter through the garage below, but these businesses are getting hurt.

This is from the paper.  The operator was in the booth when it failed.  And the Construction company wishes it didn't have its name on the crane now.

A lot of equipment in the street, they plan to construct another crane to take down the broken one.  We walked over again today after lunch.

I had ordered ten of my paperbacks and they finally arrived.  They did a first rate job with them, I'm going to go ahead with Book Two.  I'm going to shop my book at a local shop that caters to local writers.

If there is a way to get an "in" with an agent or publisher, I can't find it.  I should give the publisher more time of course, I'm sure they get bombarded.

Work continues to bring down unstable crane in Atlanta this weekend (ajc.com)

The two "mobile assist cranes" weight 600 and 900 tons each.  This is pretty amazing to me.

I'm trying to imagine the cost of bringing in two huge "mobile" cranes on a weekend, plus paying for lodging for hundreds of displaced apartment dwellers.

And the local medical center is closed.

Well, Texans might have rioted or looted or engaged in violence...

...but it was too cold for them to go out of doors ;-)
