I understand that picking up your life and moving may not be as easy for some folks, but I'd be moving out of Minneapolis or Chicago or a few other blue cities.

I'm in Cedar Park, just across the town border from Austin.  Our city government is... VERY, VERY conservative... to say the least.  Even more conservative than RR.

I love our mayor, he's a really great dude, very smart too.  He's got two degrees from UT, just like me. :)

We have a new thing here that sounds promising, it's a "3-1-1" call, for situations that are not threatening, mainly seeing a homeless person you think needs help.  Apparently they do send some social workers out to check on the individual.

That could be a thing.
