I'll defer to them too.  But surely they don't hold Archie Griffin as the greatest Buckeye football player of all time.  Maybe on the margin of the top 10.

Georgia Football: 10 Best Players in Bulldogs History | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and Highlights

I found this list, which looks reasonable I guess, I'd try and find room for Nick Chubb (the list is from 2015).

This guy made Number 2 on the list, if you can name him I'm impressed.  That is a COVID helmet I think.

It is not.  Weird helmet design.

It's not George Patton's "Green Hornet" design for a tanker uniform.

Sure, it's a traditionalists' safe, consensus list.
Jim Brown, one could say, is on these lists for his NFL career and eventual reputation....that he was merely a 5th-place Heisman RB for a school with no tradition is ignored.  If he'd gone on to fizzle out after 2 years in the NFL and become a car salesman, he wouldn't be ranked on any college football list.  But human beings have some sort of blind spot when it comes to differentiating college and NFL.
It's incredible.

Here, forget all that.  I hadn't looked at the title of the article.  To propose 9 of the 10 best players were running backs is flat out stupid.  You'd have to be a stupid person to suggest such a thing.  A 7 year old would make a list like that.
It's a poll, which means no individual said that. It means there's more consensus on who the high-end RBs are as compared to the most high-end QBs, DEs, WRs, whatever.

And for better or worse, this is a sport where the most consensus can build around workhorse backs for most of the sport's history. That doesn't make it a good list, more just one borne of a weird (bad) process.

(Also, lists are weird and silly. That putting numbers next to things can inspire even a pop of strong feeling is perpetually interesting. It's also an article copying another article, which is funny in its own way)

Frankie Sinkwich, the first player for a southern school to win the H.

Also was a Marine, which is more important.

I like this list.

But, it's just a subjective list

https://247sports.com/LongFormArticle/College-football-best-players-all-time-Herschel-Walker-Bo-Jackson-Barry-Sanders-Archie-Griffin-158871761/#158871761_7

oddly, the list doesn't include Archie's ypc or Emmitt Smith
list sucks. Jim Brown isn't even close to being the best college football player ever. He's not even top 25 let alone #1. Arguably greatest NFL player and RB ever- sure. You can make that argument. College football? Not even close. Saturdays don't equal Sundays. They are ranking a lot of these guys purely off NFL. I think even Barry might be a little bit too high. His JR year was incredible and to this day the best RB season in CFB history- but his first two seasons he was a back-up and didn't really do much.

I'd put Herschel Walker #1, easily. Bo Jackson would be in my top 5 for sure- don't know where exactly but in there. Have to really think about it. Tim Tebow, Charles Woodson, Deion Sanders, Anthony Carter, Hugh Green, Ndamukong Suh, Orlando Pace, Reggie Bush, Derrick Thomas, Marcus Allen, Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams, Vince Young, Tony Dorsett, Larry Fitzgerald, and others would be way up there before I ever got to Jim Brown- the "#1 college player ever" LOL.

I was in the park jogging and noticed a large film production happening, complete with snow, quite a bit of snow in fact.  I didn't see it being made, there was a few inches on the ground in places that had not melted.

The is the first production I've seen since March, and it was quite large, probably ten tractor trailers and a lot of gear.

Atlanta normally is a bigger film production area than Hollywood.

Luke McCaffrey clearly possesses a deep appreciation for the sport of football and the quarterback position in general.

“I go back to Fran Tarkenton as one of the quarterbacks who I watch and try to build my game after,” he told reporter Steven Sipple in December 2018, not long before he officially became a Nebraska quarterback.

That would be Fran Tarkenton of the 1970s Minnesota Vikings.

Wait a second. He studies Fran Tarkenton? Really?

Yeah, the kid is a quarterback. He thinks of himself as a quarterback. Granted, he's a bit raw as a quarterback — he threw one touchdown pass and six interceptions this season — but he's still a quarterback.
