We have a large Korean community here (and Vietnamese) and a number of "regular" Korean restaurants, but the fired chicken angle is somewhat novel.  I like bi bim bop dol sot a lot.
Yeah same here.  Lots of traditional Korean places around here, but "Korean fried chicken" is sort of a new thing.

I do like bibimbap, and also pork bulgogi, quite a bit.

Little Rocket Man flavor?
Wrong Korea. I don't think they can afford to eat chicken in the north.

As I've felt all along, the officers involved in the Jacob Blake shooting will not be charged.

Say a prayer for my second home. I'd like it to still be there come Memorial Day.

My step son from SF (a very nice young man) and I and the wife went to the NA Porsche HQ and he had an hour and a half driving a GT3 on their track.  It was quite find watching him.

I have a 718 convertible on my short list of cars I'd like to own perhaps someday, and I think I'd do this before buying it.

Just as ordinary folks are presumed innocent and have to be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a trial, the same applies to the police.

You wanna spend 5 hours on youtube?  Watch the former North Korean soldiers marvel at our actual military might.....then watch them enjoy real, American BBQ for the first time!

Lemme guess... it was burgers and dogs on the grill, wasn't it?

No, fancy-pants BBQ restaurants providing brisket, ribs, and pulled pork.
Search DIMPLE on youtube - it's really great.  They're legit former North Korean soldiers who have had the veil of absurdities lifted and understand they were brainwashed.
Some of the vids are their first exposures to various US military weapons and stats and others are lighter - with trying a variety of foods besides bean paste and raw potatoes.

I was wondering if you find KFC (above) in Korea as a "thing", and whether if so, it's a recent thing.  Maybe they had the original KFC and simply set out to improve it (which is not that tough to do).

They had fried chicken in Seoul when I was there in '88-89.

From a bus I was taking to CP Tango on an exercise, I saw a restaurant with a picture of Olive Oyl's head painted on the side.

In Han-Gul was written "Oh-Lee-Beh Chee-Keen."

Interesting, perhaps it was the same style (which was good).  Obviously, a country can adopt a food from elsewhere and then change it rather dramatically (pizza).
