The last 3 on a tree transmission available in the US as a new car, 1979 Chevy Nova.

How many here have driven one, a car or truck with 3-on-the-tree?
drove a 1965 volkswagen in college
3 speeds and reverse on the floor

does that count

A friend in high school in '88 had an old truck that was 3 on the tree.  I don't even remember what brand it was, I wasn't much into pickups at the time, but I drove it occasionally.  So I can raise my hand on this one.

Former Florida State wide receiver D.J. Matthews will transfer to Indiana, it was announced on Thursday. The former Seminoles star made the announcement via a post on social media account as he now gets set to join the Hoosiers for the next leg of his football career.

I know this is going to sound bad but I gotta ask why would anyone want to transfer from Florida State to Indiana

I mean, if you think your coach is unpleasant, could be a reason to leave. And it's not like Tallahassee is a paradise.

It's beautiful country with a nice campus and an opportunity to play

Academics?

Tallahassee may not be a paradise, but there's bangin' scenery and the beach isn't far away.

Is this question legitimately curious? Or no?

If you don’t like the beach, there’s quality enough scenery at most large institutions. (Plus he’ll only be there a year anyway)
