Spiderman, Dune, The Odyssey....

Zendaya must have the best agent in Hollywood.  She in a lot of good things, and she's not a bad actress or an annoying person (that I know of), but neither is she a really good actress.  She's just kind of there.  It surprises me that she's so "it" right now.

We finished a show last night and didn't really know what to watch, so we decided on an episode of House Hunters so we'd have a brainless time-killer before bed.

The episode was a nudist couple looking at places in a nudist community. 

Anyone want to place bets on what state it was in? :57:

First time I recall seeing her was in The Queen's Gambit which is an excellent short series on Netflix, highy recommend.

It's been noted that here eyes are extremely wide apart, compared to contemporary actresses.  It's a different look, for sure.

speaking of The Odyssey....it's on track to crack $1.2 billion globally at the box office by the time it's run is over.

Christopher Nolan is literally the only director out here the last 10 years making original films that are box office smashes that make close to $1 billion or over $1 billion. 

Almost everything else making those kind of dollars is a freaking Disney/Pixar movie for children, a lame ass Star Wars movie or some Superhero shit.

GOAT movie director of his era for sure.

They should offer another tier on Hulu - commercials, but no political commercials. I'd pay extra for that in a heartbeat.

We have what our HOA gives us (included in HOA fee) so we don't have any options. And it's all ads from the right. Nothing from the left (yet).

We have a couple of clowns running for the seat vacated by the guy who is running for governor here.

One is a guy from New York, who was a US rep there, but had to resign when he got convicted for insider trading. WTF.

Another is a guy from Illinois - Jim Oberweis. He ran for so many offices up there and lost so many races, people call him the Milk Dud (he owns a dairy).

Just go away already.

And there are like 9 more after those guys. Lots and lots of ads. It sucks. 

August 18th is a great day. It's primaries here, and also my wife's 65th. We won't be watching TV that night.
