Does anyone like a burger more than the one they make at home?
On occasion, yes. I often go to supper clubs in Wisconsin and they make burgers (chopped steak) from the trimmings they don't use for their steaks. Those are some fantastic burgers.
I do grind my own meat for burgers. Brisket, ribeye and skirt. That is hard to beat.
U RAH RAH! WIS CON SIN!

Just don't put catchup on a friggin' hot dog dammit.
I put ketchup on nothing, as it is an inferior condiment

Looking back at Eastern Michigan's 12 losses since November 2016:
• HALF were in OT
• 11/12 were by 7 points or less

BRUTAL,would seriously make one not watch/attend/listen.Even ask the Board of Regents to take the high, merciful road and pull the plug
And that’s an improvement!

They also don't offer anything other than American Cheese.

If I'm paying 8 bucks for a burger, it better have some chedda.
Maybe one of you midwestern types can explain American cheese to me.  IMO, it's bland filler crap that adds nothing to anything.
How is American cheese even a thing?!?

Why is there a demand for American cheese? Why is there ever a demand for any dirt cheap food? Wealth is not evenly distributed. The end.

It is gooier than any other cheese.  No other cheese comes close for things like grilled cheese and mac and cheese.  Too bad you guys out on the coasts have inferior product to choose from.

That'll get me going on a rant about products having an invented hierarchy of quality.  Let's just say making the most possible money doesn't require unethical greed, but basically everyone thinks it does and is wiling to go down that route.

So the argument for it is that it becomes tasteless goo??
Umm, I'll take a grilled cheese of literally ANY other cheese over American, thank you very much.

I didn't know American Cheese was a staple for Mid-western types.I'm fairly certain Burger King/McDonalds puts it on their burgers in Florida and Arizona - so why don't you tell us

Midwestern cheese is usually pretty solid. Not quite as good as New England and Upstate NY, imo, but a helluva lot better than anything from the Southeast or out west.
