"A nonbinding measure" .... meh.

Maybe this relates to the R&D Tax Credit, I don't know obviously.  I don't get very interested in non-binding measures.  They may as well rename some Post Office.
yes, it's related to the R&D Tax Credit. And don't worry, it will be restored in due time.

So, instead of deducting over five years this would make it deductible immediately.  I don't view this as some major change.

If I'm that labor union leader I'm telling Biden to go f**k himself and not letting him use me for a photo op.

BTW the contract the Biden admin just awarded that f**k stick cum stain Jeff Bezos and Amazon- who this labor leader Christian Smalls is fighting against- was for $10 billion- and it's a contract with the NSA. LOL.

Silicon Valley/Big Tech is a literal cesspool that has basically been in partnership with the federal gov't and it's security apparatus and have literally handed NSA/CIA backdoors into their entire systems. Google, Facebook, and Twitter started censoring the internet for them the last few years- hence why the federal govt and it's establishment news media which does nothing but run interference, propagandize an astoundingly stupid American population, and manufacture consent for them- is freaking out about Musk buying Twitter and potentially uncorking the censorship regime there that has taken hold.

What It Felt Like: I Took the F-16 Fighter To Nearly Mach 2.0 - 19FortyFive

As I maintained my altitude, the jet started to accelerate. At 1.4 Mach, with only about 2 minutes of fuel left, I bunted over and started a dive to help with the acceleration. In my heads-up-display, 1.5 Mach ticked by, backed up by an old Mach indicator slowly spinning in my instrument console.
At 1.6 Mach, the jet started to shake. I was expecting it—the F-16 has a flight region around that airspeed that causes the wings to flutter. Still, this jet had a lot of hours on the airframe, and if anything were to fail, the breakup would be catastrophic. Similarly, ejecting at that speed would be well outside the design envelop—the air resistance at Mach 1.6 is about 300 times what a car experiences at highway speeds. A few pilots have tried, only to break nearly every bone in their body.
So now, the option was to slow down until the vibration stopped, or push through until it smoothed out on the other side. I was running low on fuel, so I elected to increase my dive so I could accelerate faster. Slowly 1.7 Mach ticked by, next 1.8, and then at 1.9, everything smoothed out. I was now traveling 1,500 mph over the Yellow Sea. The cockpit started feeling warm so I took my hand off the throttle and put it about a foot away from the canopy and could feel the heat radiating through my glove, similar to sticking your hand in an oven.

The air speed indicator in a plane has a red line called "Never Exceed Speed", for some reason unclear to me.  Before that is a yellow region.  I forget what it is in a Cessna 172, something like 160 knots I think.  You can't reach that in level flight.  The indicator stops at 40 knots on the other end, it is possible to fly below 40, but at full power oddly enough, you cant the attitude up and basically hang on the propeller.  Needless to say your flight controls are mushy at such a low speed, and it's pretty easy to find yourself in a stall situation (which is easily recoverable).

It's not that hard to get a private license, it is some effort and expense of course, but I do marvel at these fellows who fly F-16s in combat situations with so much going on.

P.S. I looked it up, NE speed is 182 kt in a 172.

NBA legend Magic Johnson left up to an estimated $5.2 billion on the table when he turned Nike down for a $100,000 cash deal to endorse Converse. Magic was fresh out of college and looking for a pay day, and Nike didn't have cash to offer him, but they were offering him stock.

this is pretty nuts...Tom Brady signs a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports to go to the booth and call games and be their lead NFL analyst as soon as he's done playing. Deal averages $37.5 million a year for Brady- which is $4 million more than the $33.5 million ESPN is paying Joe Buck ($15.5 mm) and Troy Aikman ($18 mm) COMBINED- whom ESPN just stole from Fox Sports.

Brady's NFL career earnings were $308 million, and this deal is for $375 million. That's only $683 million.

isn't she worth like $400 or $500 million from her modeling career and the women's apparel/makeup companies she owns?

I think she's got more money than him. They each got a shitload of money.

I wanted to toss an idea out there about the Roe v Wade reversal.
I get that the sky isn't actually falling for the Dems, and that it's 'merely' resorting the legality of abortion to be state-by-state.  Red states making it illegal, blue ones keeping it legal.  Great.  Fine.  Whatever.
.
My idea is to ask:  why stop there?  Why not go down to the county level?
.
If it's simply going to wind up a proximity law by state, given the nature of the situation, why not give those that are going to get abortions some closer options than 1-2-3 states over?  If you're rural and your local area votes to not allow them, what do you care if the others have to drive 2 hours instead of 5 or 8 or 12?
.
Shouldn't be all the same to you?  Tell me how this is harmful or a bad idea.
