I use the cheap ($2.99 lb) pink slime from the local packing plant.

it doesn't suck

I won't be cutting back on Wings Wednesday........... cutting loose!

60 cent broasted wings with Grim Reaper sauce, broasted taters and $2.50 Budweisers.  About a dozen wings, a dozen taters, and a 12er of Bud!

Pickles are disgusting, so, nope.
I'm gonna make some fried chicken sandwiches later today. Currently have boneless thighs brining in pickle juice. Once they are fried and slathered in pickles and mayo...delicious!

I don't get Chick-Fil-A either. There is nothing special about it, at all.
I'm with you. It is probably the best fast food place there is though imo. Fast food in general is disgusting. Chic-Fil-A gets overhyped simply because it's pretty good and it's fast food. It isn't amazing or anything. It's just, pretty good.

There is this sandwich place in Ft. Laud called Henry's that has a fried chicken sandwich- now that is an amazing fried chicken sandwich.

I start getting badgers about "What do you want for Christmas?" about now.  I generally say "World peace" or "Harsher punishment for parole violators".

This year I preempted by sending out this:

That could be me.  It isn't.  It won't be any time soon, but it could be.  Reaction thus far is not promising.

Kroger had flat iron steaks on sale so I picked up two of them.  I would just about prefer this to any other cut at any price, just about.  Seriously.

The recipe was from Serious Eats five ingredient chicken sandwiches. Essentially brine in pickle juice, then a dip in buttermilk, then all purpose flour, then fry. Turned out pretty well.
