Yeah you gotta have a genny and A/C for boondocking around here, at least for 9-10 months of the year.

We take our trailer down to the coast for about a week every summer at Padre Island National Seashore, you can park and camp directly on the beach and if you go 5 miles down you'll have at least 1/4 mile of beach all to yourself.  Anyway, the A/C runs 24/7 on those trips, no way around it.

Highs in the mid 70s?  We won't see that until November probably.

And you shoulda asked me about the RV A/C and a 2500W genny, definitely not enough.

I normally don't recommend Harbor Freight tools and equipment at all, other than desperate one-time use type of stuff.  But their generators are top notch.  I highly recommend this one, $800 and you can occasionally get it for $100 less than that.  Plus it's nice to have in case of power outages during storms or whatever.

So the Coscto 10 miles away had Sam Adams OKTOBERFEST in the Long Necks going for $30 a 28 bottle case . So I called ahead to see if they were still in stock and they had 26 cases available. They now have 24 available, might have to take it to the happy thread

Not a fan of OG Sam Adams Boston Lager, way too hoppy to be a proper lager.  But I do like a lot of their seasonals.

Went and bought my $1000 generator for $750 last night at Harbor Freight.  Bought a bunch of little stuff that was on the big parking lot sale to go with, all fit in the $5.00 soft side tool bag.  Hammers, ammo can, tape measure, tent stakes, super glue.

Reading through the Generator pamphlet, says the warranty is VOID if you don't put fuel stabilizer in.  And there are 3 additional carburetor jets for altitude use.  So happens I sit at 2000' elevation, so if I ever go West 10 miles, supposed to install Jet A for 2000-4000 feet.  Think I'm going to have to say I'll pass on that for now.

Well, I think that's one thing the Fish Cops don't look for and treat like it's a homicide in these parts.

Hope they don't ramp up the enviro issues, my 2-stroke 90 HP Johnson fogs the lake for mosquitoes upon starting, we don't need none of that regulation here in the middle of nowhere.
