Yeah you gotta have a genny and A/C for boondocking around here, at least for 9-10 months of the year.

We take our trailer down to the coast for about a week every summer at Padre Island National Seashore, you can park and camp directly on the beach and if you go 5 miles down you'll have at least 1/4 mile of beach all to yourself. Anyway, the A/C runs 24/7 on those trips, no way around it.

I normally don't recommend Harbor Freight tools and equipment at all, other than desperate one-time use type of stuff. But their generators are top notch. I highly recommend this one, $800 and you can occasionally get it for $100 less than that. Plus it's nice to have in case of power outages during storms or whatever.
