That VAR reversed a game winning goal Iran scored against Egypt.  Dude's big toe was shown to be "offsides." 

The sport is just absolutely flawed with that rule, imo.  Combine that with all the fakery, it's just Un-'Merican.

But I will watch some more, I guess. 

The $100 I spent to watch the Royals hasn't panned out very well.  Promising season turned sour with the injury bug and the 3/4 hitters around the Mendoza line (one of which caught an injury anyway.)
Yeah, this is one of the problems I have with VAR reviews. How accurate is that? In the Premier League there is a 5 cm leeway given, but not in the World Cup. I think the leeway makes sense. And speaking as a referee of games that don't and never will have VAR, it's silly to ask referees to see something that is arguably within a computer's margin of error. 

That said, assuming that you believe the system they use, there is no question it was an offside offense.
