We received 6-8” of rain over the last week. Ready for some dry weather.

I wish we had 6-8" here. We've had more like 0.6" in the past 10 days.

Added two inches of water to the pool yesterday.

Got 5" on Sunday/Monday.  Dry as a bone since then.  We could get 3x that amount and sitll not be anywhere near caught up.

I'm not sure how much we've gotten over the past several weeks.  It's rained hard almost every day for a while now, and the ground stays soaked and muddy.

Then we were supposed to get hit by a tropical storm Wednesday, and it's been sunny ever since.  Go figure.

Forecast says up to 50% rain chances in Austin for today and tomorrow.  In Austin, in summer, I won't believe it til I see it.  Maybe not even then.

A week ago they were predicting 13 straight days of rain.  We got one-- on Monday early AM-- and then nada.
