They aren't bad.  Probably best for reheating anything breaded including a French fry.  You can make pretty decent chicken tenders in them as well.     Always have to work in batches,  can't crowd the pan or grate like anything else.

In the end, not as good as actual frying but way cleaner.  I wouldn't miss it if it disappeared from my house.

My brother and his wife are trying hard to eat healthy, and he swears that his Phillips air fryer is the greatest thing since hot dogs and hamburgers.

I have the Phillips model.  It is a good model.  Though like an instapot not something I really need.  The Anova sous vide stick on the other hand...

We like our air fryer. Like mentioned above, it's the best at leftovers. I don't actually fry things in it.

Edit: We have one from Costco. Gourmia?

Heh I'm the opposite. The Instapot is magical, the sous vide collects dust.

Bought one earlier this year.  We love it.  Use it for most things.  Real easy to use.  However, it's not really like "frying".
