They'd have to beat LSU. And they would have. But, JJ left, and that's that.
Oh, okay.  My mistake.

:16:

A 3-loss team would be unbeatable because a 7-sack guy came back and they'd beat what was called an all-time great team before its loss to Bama.
Because you said so.
Got it.

Wow, Purdue.

I'll never understand the QB getting sacked and just tossing the ball randomly, yet inevitably into a defensive lineman's hands.....

Entertaining game at the garage dome in Syracuse.

After Purdue takes a 15-10 lead with an earlier fourth quarter TD drive (failed 2-pt), Syracuse dinks and dunks it to about midfield until Purdue forces a 4th down. On 4th and short Syracuse scores on a short reception and long run down the wide open sideline by WR Oronde Gadsen II (yes, son of the former Dolphins WR) for an 18-5 lead after Syracuse convert the 2-pt.

With the ball back deep on their side of the field, O'Connell, blown back by a blitz, flings an errant pass right into the hands of a Syracuse DL who trots untouched into the end zone.

Purdue with the ball, 7:00 left at their 45, down 25-15.

I don't like watching Syracuse home games bc of the low camera angle.

And damn, this was a 10-9 game like 4 seconds ago...

Down goes Northwestern.  Some interesting candidates for worst in the conference.

If South Alabama holds their lead VS UCLA, but it's only witnessed by 160 spectators, does the upset count?

The next time someone asks what I do for a living, I'm going to say "UCLA football ticket scalper."

These Syracuse OL are just holding at will, because it's not being called.

Man, hard to watch the end of this game and not see officials with a clear outcome in mind.
