recruiting nearly as well as Wisconsin and better than the rest of the West, just not developing talent
Actually, I read Nebraska was 4th in Recruiting (behind only the East Big 3) for the Scott Frost Era. (ie better than Wisconsin and the rest of the West.)

Edit: I only see 7 Texas kids on their Roster. But more concerning is the 61 Nebraska Kids. If Nebraska is going to continue be a National Brand I think they need to have over half their kids come from out of state (preferably from Football Hotbeds.)

well, it wasn't like there were 25 Texans on the roster back in the early 2000's

maybe more than 7 but not a crazy number
and the wins weren't coming at a good rate back then either

of the 61 Nebraskans on the roster - over half are walkons w/o a ship

it's a bloated roster with close to 150 kids

Well with USC and UCLA out of the picture, Colorado is spared two losses per season right there.

oh, they will fill the schedule with some team that can beat the hell out of them

have a little faith

it's USC and UCLA have have to worry about where they get those guaranteed wins

If they get places in the B1G West, I can think of a few.

I know of one, but that program is not accepting mediocrity

The new coach will be in place before UCLA comes East
