I have a friend there that lives on Sandpiper Golf course - and he owes me a round

Yeah, I think in other rankings UCSB has been the #1 currently. 

I was thinking maybe they were restricting it to schools with a football team, but UW-Milwaukee in 50th doesn't have one.

I went thru Santa Barbara back in 1976 after visiting my uncle and cousins in Lompoc

I was merely a mini golfer at the time

uncle took us for a ride in his speed boat on lake Cachuma - large V8 in the speedboat - chrome pipes - also a V8 in the 60's something El Camino used to pull the boat trailer
