AI is a bit scary to me, I have no idea where it's headed.  The eventual impact on employment is one aspect.  We already have MANY Waymo cars here driving around, they get confused at times, but actually drive pretty well from what I've seen, never used one.  We have the small delivery bots everywhere, they get confused pretty often, and can be funny to watch as they try and cross a street.

Tip of the iceberg.  I expect some medium level restaurants to start using bots very soon, at least to deliver meals, maybe your server is human, or maybe you order off an app and the whole thing is automated, including cooking.

The scariest part has to be military use.

Aside from automation, I see folks using it, or trying to develop some new drug.  I find that "fascinating".
I've seen the robot waiters. They get confused when you stand in front of them.

And they get pissy when you tip under 15%...

I was happy to see Rush sound so good in their return to the stage (video, not in person).  Can't imagine the pressure on Anika Miles for these first shows.  She killed it.

When the AI overlords take control, you'll be remembered for this impertinence. AI has an excellent memory.

I should know... We sell them the data storage and it's really reliable :57:

Tee times are incredibly hard to find here for weekend mornings at some courses. One, that I pay a small annual membership fee*, opens up tee times for "members" two weeks before the day of play, earlier than non-members. But of late, even as a member when I wake up very early (5:30) on Sunday mornings, I couldn't find an acceptable tee time before midday, two weeks out.

But this morning I managed to find one for 6/28. Pretty happy about that.

We're also doing my Father's Day celebration today, as my wife's dad & stepmom will be in town next weekend so we're celebrating him then. So my son and I will be playing at our usual course this morning for an early Father's Day round. My wife will be making Italian Beef Sandwiches for dinner.

All this after we had his graduation party yesterday, and two nice dinners Fri/Sat.

It's shaping up to be a pretty good weekend.

One of my teenaged kids got herself a summer job without my (or wife) involvement.  That's a happy moment.

NBA finals were extremely fun and it was very cool to watch a long suffering fan base get to feel a lot of joy.

Is there any real reason fast food prep won't be automated within 2-3-4 years?  Maybe you have one human at a McDs, maybe two.

It was a real riot!
Only 4 stabbing, one shooting, multiple buses destroyed or burned and 5 police cars destroyed.

A normal night in NYC.

THANKFULLY, WE DIDN’T HAVE TO SEE ANY MORE VIDEOS OF PEOPLE WEARING SPURS JERSEYS, BEING BEATEN, SENSELESS LIKE WE DID WHEN THE GAME WAS IN NEW YORK
