Grilling jerk chicken while sitting on the porch during very scattered thunderstorms. Can hear thunder constantly in the distance, but the rain has held off. Using bay leaves and allspice to smoke it, so it is smelling just wonderful.

Also sipping a Red Stripe to enhance the Jamaican experience. My Jamaican wife is asleep so I guess I don't get the whole experience.

Our first 55+ baseball game is scheduled Saturday, but we have much needed rain forecast.  I'll probably drive out and then sit around and head back.

These seem like pretty good guys, none of them are "stars", a couple are in their 70s.  It's a LOT cheaper than fantasy camp, duh.

I was out and about yesterday. I saw a good number of vehicles heading toward I-75 North, with luggage racks and out of state/country plates.

Yeah I'm fine with 100s in Austin.  I dislike 92 with Houston humidity.  I'll never move there.  They are welcome for my support.

We’re in a good spot weather wise right now. Lows in the 50s, highs in the 80s.

Ha, as if on cue, my favorite Austin weathercaster just posted his forecast for humidity over the coming days, where the humidity levels range from "dry" and "refreshing" at the bottom, to "oppressive" and the ultimate terror "Houston" at the top.

Eric going for a run in Houston maybe five or six years back on a business trip. I think it was like November and still weirdly too warm and humid. I
