Funny that the filmography included a Super Bowl commercial.

The movie spiked Trans-Am sales a lot.  I don't remember how much, but a lot.  I learned it on the internet, so...

Strange. But I’ve never cared for any of the Godfather movies. I’ve seen them all, and while I find them interesting, I just never considered them some kind of masterpiece that deserves endless discussion and references.

It's really emotionally healthy that you live by these words.

We watched Bugonia last week and I really liked it, as I expected I would.

Of the four I've seen, I liked them all, and I'd probably rank them:

1) Bugonia
2) Sinners
3) Frankenstein
4) F1

Watched Marty Supreme last night and like the others, I liked it.  It was a well-crafted piece, the writing and direction were good, the performances were pretty much excellent.  Like others have noted, there wasn't much to like about most of the characters, but that was also the point.

I'd put it at #5 behind all of the others above, but that's no slight, they really are all good movies.  It's refreshing and surprising to me, that all of these Academy-nominated movies were so good this year.

Might watch Train Dreams tonight, will report back, I know you're all anxiously awaiting!

Hey, I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong...

...and if that day ever occurs, I'll let you know. :57:

Rewatched Monty Python's the Meaning of Life last night. It's the worst of their three movies. It has some brilliant little moments sprinkled throughout it, but it's the most juvenile and I think least refined, despite being the last and probably best funded of their films.

I can't help but giggle any time I hear the song "Every Sperm is Sacred" but I do agree that Meaning of Life is quite a bit weaker than Holy Grail and Life of Brian.
