OT - Pet Peeves Thread

Folks with no situational awareness, who stand in front of something usually pondering while no one else can access whatever.  

Folks who wait to collect their stuff on a plane debarking and then block the aisle while they slowly try and get seven coats and bags and rollers from the overhead.

Screaming babies on a long plane flight.

Folks walking ahead of you who suddenly stop to pull out their phone.

Folks in some meeting whose phone rings and they are slow to tend to the ringing.

Folks who appaud prematurely at a sympony after a movement not the finale.

Kids.

Cars stopping in front of you and turning without using their blinker.  

Drivers weaving and going slow because they're dicking around with their phone or whatever.

Drivers who stop in front of you to check if a pedestrian standing still on the side of the road wants to cross.

All meetings.

Bicycle people who leave the tire changing tab on their brakes open (as if they are changing their tire). It's mean to be opened to get your wheel off, then closed when you put your wheel back on. Leaving it open screws up how the brakes are adjusted. Most of the time they will still work (most of the time), but it's DUMB.

Cellular dead zones in my HQ facility. We're a tech company. Why doesn't my damn phone work in the room I'm in for two days of meetings?

Georgia DOT picks team to build top-end I-285 toll lanes

So, because traffic is bad here, the idea is to build more lanes, to be open in 2042.

We dined outside today in Decatur and I watched bus after bus go by with 1 or 2 passengers.

No Wi-Fi?

I've never bothered to set up Wi-Fi access for my cell bc I'm rarely in this facility (and more rarely in that part of the building).

I voted early last week, and yesterday made me realize that YouTube, YouTubeTV, etc. should have options where I can verify I voted and then I'm exempt from the constant stream of political ads.  

I shouldn't have to be subjected to these once they cannot possibly sway my decisions.

We voted, one person ahead of me in line.  There were maybe six in line when I left.  My ballot didn't switch my vote.

We vote on a touch screen which then produces a paper ballot which is scanned, seems pretty honest.
