Yes, it can be, with enough people saying it that way for enough time.  Language is fluid.
Case in point:  irregardless is now a word that means regardless
It's stupid, but it's now technically correct.  Because the masses over time.
Words are just sounds that everybody agrees means something.

Gay used to mean happy, now it means something completely different.  So what?

The funny thing is that I don't many people on here are even particularly religious, or even partly religious.

I think OAM is just speaking about the general public, who he thinks is overly religious, but in reality they're probably not.  There seem to be a concentrated or super religious at the top, and a concentration of super non religious at the top as well, who sort of force their ideology down the line.  Case in point, the whole Ten Commandants in the classroom in Tx thing.  Oh brother !

Personally it doesn't bother me when OAM spouts off about all this stuff.  Religion, capitalism, whatever.  I notice he hasn't picked up and moved to some non religious non capitalistic utopia.

It would seem pretty easy to avoid saying "religion" in a post, and the same with "politics" or anything related thereto.

I should move because many people have an irrational belief?  What?
And the idea that Cubans aren't religious just because the government isn't is adorable.

But we can't talk about it.  Get your post deleted.  Can't mention the post being deleted.  Get that post deleted.

But I'm the problem, lol.  FFS

I posted about the discussion of religion (not religion itself) and Cincy deleted it.  Then I complained about censorship for any post about discussing religion, and that post was deleted.

He just needs to do less.

I'm no expert, but I didn't realize the first 2 commandments were 'you're not supposed to talk about it...'
