Oof. Read a story about it. Who knows what a person goes through, but man, suicide sucks.

Make it so, Number 1.

Crazy that the old guy he replaced as Captain is still kicking at 95.

An icon of my childhood, and a heckuva actor.

Missed mentioning this last week, but I'll go ahead and do it now.

Dale Brown--LSU coaching legend--passed away last Friday on 10/23.  He coached some of the best and most famous players to ever suit up in the PMAC.

He had just been named the 2027 recipient of the prestigious John R. Wooden Legends of Coaching award, and Shaq did a nice congratulations video for him.  Though he didn't live to formally receive the award, I'm glad it was announced and he knew about it.

Since basketball is what I lived and breathed as a kid, and I lived just miles from campus, Brown was an integral, if background, part of my childhood.
