Whether you agree with his politics or not, he was respectful man willing to engage with anyone.  Leaving behind a wife and 2 young kids. Why people think violence is the way to silence opposition is beyond me.

It's pretty awful. Murderer still at large.

Are they? I saw a couple reports state that a suspect was in custody but that could be wrong.

They arrested a guy at the scene but he is apparently just a local nut and not believed to be the shooter.

No matter what side you fall on, it's truly a dark day for our country.

It's a dark era.  If this string of events happened in an Eastern Europian country we'd be waiting on a civil war

For context, I posted that to not be political, I intentionally avoided political content, but if it goes in that direction, I'll delete my post and all responses.  I just meant that whatever side you are on, this is a scary time to be a public political figure.

I understood the intent.  I think most folks will.

Dark times indeed.

This will make it worse:
ABC is reporting that the suspect was heard screaming "I'd do it again" when taken into custody.

They apparently arrested another person, though a bit cryptic about it. Some conflicting statements though there is video out there of another arrest.
