Yep. He was not wrong. BYU had the game circled on its calendar for a year, after UW went in there and beat them 40-6. They sure played like it!!

It's weird, I was at that game and never exactly saw it as gutting it out. I suppose in some ways it was. They certainly took advantage of UW puking on itself.
Michigan had 21 yards at half, 31 with seven minutes left in the third. Threet finally found some life, UW started losing the ball everywhere and giving up big plays. Michigan was already up by the time Threet broke a 58-yard zone read run. UW had planned to not play its injured best player, ended up shuffling him in so he could get two catches and commit a penalty that brought back a game-tying 2-point conversion. UW blew so many chances, it was insanity.

Walters said Wisconsin's defense is a reflection of its defensive coordinator, Jim Leonhard. Walters got to know Leonhard better last December when they hung out at a banquet for the Broyles Award, which both assistants were finalists for in 2017. "He played 10, 12 years in the league. Undersized. Played with passion and enthusiasm. And that's what they do. They're fundamentally sound. They're not going to beat themselves. They're tough. They really reflect their entire coaching staff."

Saturday will be Nebraska's 13th game against Wisconsin, which becomes the 20th opponent to face the #Huskers 13-plus times. 

NU has a winning record against 13 of those opponents.

I'm surprised there are 7 opponents with that many games against Nebraska who have a winning record against them.

It's funny to imagine how many turnovers Wisconsin would have to have in order to barf up this game to Nebraska at home.

Unless they don't play Saturday, yeah. But UW is 8-4 all-time against the Huskers with a chance to be 8-5 or 9-4.
