Ronnie Bell already looks better than DPJ as a route runner.

The 2* with no other offers vs the 5* #1 WR in HS.

I don’t know what’s going on with DPJ but he’s just not developing as a route runner.

Starting to concern me.

Me too. TBH, I have been skeptical of his football instincts in general. He's a great blocker though, which conflicts with my opinion.

I think Lewerke's lateral went forward a yard.

Texas up 21 on the Sooners. Moving over to the MSU vs. Nerds game.

I Agree. And so do the Refs.

Not to beat a dead horse, but how do you pin this on the TE and say there’s no traffic here?

He’s a great blocker because he’s a freak of nature.
With his sort of size and strength and athletic ability he should be dominant. He’s not though. His hands are pretty good too. But it’s his route running, toe tapping, knowing how to use the sideline and give himself space to make plays instead of squeezing the sideline. Also his reading of coverages is concerning. The great WRs can read the coverages and find the openings. He can’t.
He needs a crash course with a great route running receiver to teach him. He needs to get Cris Carter’s number and beg him to train him in the off season or seomthing.
He is so physically gifted. He should be dominating.

That’s an image from a weird angle.
The defender in front is yards away and the defender behind the DB who is holding Gentry is yards away as well.
If anything all this picture tells me is the refs should’ve called PI or defensive holding on Maryland.

Thanks for taking the time to capture/post that. I still feel the same. The ball hits the receiver high and in the hands. And at that moment only one DB can touch him. It isn't until the ball is deflected up that anyone else can get in the area.

If not for the dumb mistake of kicking the ball to one of the most explosive players in the B1G this game is 17-0 at the half with the defense flat out dominating even with Gary out of the line up.

Color me impressed. So far. But they have to keep it up for 60 minutes. Haven’t seen them do that all year yet.

I watched it a dozen times when the half ended. If he makes throws like that the rest of the year, we’ll be unhappy fans. It was a well covered play and the defender made a great play on the ball. Defender deserves credit and my opinion is still the same about the decisions.

I was wondering why Thorson didn't look like this last week (because then NU could have won), but then I watched a couple snaps and was reminded of the difference: pass rush.
