Wow. Huge coverage breakdown there for the Spartans.

Illinois with a negative 44 yard pass play?!?!?

I'm thinking my Game Cast is showing bad info.

But the funny thing is, both teams are so bad, that I could believe a 4 yard punt, and a negative 44 yard pass.

Weather is a high of 72 today, low of 59, mostly sunny. In other words, absolute perfection.

Should be a pretty lazy day. Going to catch some games and run some errands...

Might do In n Out for lunch. Been a while since we've had it. Got a plan to go hit a brewery with the in-laws in the afternoon.

Decided I wanted to cook Chinese for dinner tonight. So we'll start with egg drop soup [wife has never had it because she has a poultry allergy; eggs are okay but chicken stock isn't so it'll be made with vegetable]. Follow that up with beef lo mein.

I'm watching the red river war as well.

Brinch at the bar was called off.  Daughter's dog was a problem and caused me to tweak my lower back.

Tito's and an ice bag are helping

plenty of stoopid plays by individual players on both sides of this game

just seems to me that players are more disciplined these days than back in the good old days of the 70s and 80s

Sean McKeon sucks. Why the hell do they keep playing him? Can’t take it anymore. Makes me want to scream every time they throw him the ball. It’s a wasted play and a wasted down.

That 4th and 1 was awful. Even I knew Ben Mason was getting that. That doesn’t work on 4th and a full yard. 4th and inches? Sure. A full yard plus? No way. Would’ve been great if they faked it to Mason and let Patterson bootleg it out of there. That just might work.

Ooof. That was bad. Yeah, let's give the team with 18 total yards a TD and the lead. For funsies.

For real. Wtf was that? The defense was owning their offense even without Gary in the line up and they do that?
Ty Johnson is explosive. WHY even kick it to him?

Was that a good example for this argument? Shea threw it up to his sequoia TE, the ball hit him in the hands and then deflected up and into the hands of a second DB. Not the kind of play a QB is normally blamed for.

Absolutely the kind of play a QB is blamed for. Broken play and he fires it into heavy traffic. Terrible decision and led to an INT.
