I mean, he is unaguably not   Hes surrounded by his yes men.  He just made a bunch of decisions based on a meeting with a blogger. he tried to hire a child sex trafficker as his attorney general, and that turned out to be a step too far.  Either you tell him yes, or you get fired.

elections have consequences, as Obama said. And he has the right to shape the next 4 years as he sees fit. He does not have the right to change the entire government. and he fires everyone who says that to him.  I said it was terrifying when people thought Biden should stack the court.  And likewise, Trump should not be allowed to make similar moves.  And most people agree, the problem is he keeps firing them until he finds someone stupid enough to tell him yes to everything. If you say no to him, you are fired

Firing people who don’t do what their job requires is not unusual- and that has nothing to do with discourse with other leaders and influential people. 

The CNN talking points don’t fly here.

Thats not what he does.  I dont dislike him.  I said Trump 1.0 was a good thing, he just needed to keep his mouth shut.  But he isnt firing people who dont do their job, he fires people who dont kiss his ring, which is scary

We all know this.

Apple has already moved Macbook manufacturing back to the USA, and there's more to come.  Intel reinvesting heavily back into US manufacturing.  And then there's foreign companies increasing manufacturing in the USA, like Samsung who's committed $44 billion in new manufacturing capability over the past few years.

Nobody's expecting Nike to move their shoe sweatshops to the US, but there's tons of opportunity in high tech.

If you tell me, ignorance is bliss, that implies that the currently blissful are ignorant.

The least blissful people are the ones freaking out, and the most blissful are the ones shrugging off dips in their net worth, and telling us that this is ultimately an opportunity and for the greater good. But that seems to work against your general outlook.

Some of the most financially literate people on this message board are not freaking out and predicting the apocalypse.  That should probably tell you something...

...an it should also probably tell you something about the motivations and experience levels among the people who ARE freaking out about it all.
