Well, maybe I would at some point, but I can't envision it.  I'd get a video record, and try and walk away and get an uber, if the police didn't arrive within an hour or so.

Awesome.  Now what of your abandoned car in the middle of the road?

Maybe you are well off enough to abandon a 50-100K asset not knowing if you'll ever see it again.

I'd rather abandon my car than run over another human being.  It's not worth that much, and it's fairly new.

But, it's a hypothetical, hard really to envision for me, a lot of options seem plausible to me as possibilities.

I'd have to fear for my life before taking another person's life
