ergo Americans are heading towards extinction and will need more and more constant immigration not to collapse as a country. Which is just another reason why we should be embracing immigration, not making it taboo or look down on immigrants.
That's great as long as they are in the work force and not getting incredible tax breaks - some have manipulated this quite a bit

I don't know of anyone that looks down on LEGAL immigration. It is the ILLEGAL immigration that is currently a problem and needs to be addressed.

what does this even mean? that is a meaningless garbage talking point. your average immigrant that comes here is a law abiding person who works their asses off to the bone- immigrants tend to work much harder than your average fat f**king stupid lazy drugged up American. That one is not even close.

And if you think it's just black people and immigrants getting gov't handouts and welfare- well, think again my friend. There are countless millions and millions of poor white corn bread eating, mayonnaise and bolony sammich eating rural white trash in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Missouri, Georgia, etc., etc. getting welfare from the US govt teet. The biggest chunk of welfare recipients in the US are non-Hispanic whites. Among the population that receives welfare, 43% are white. The other 57% are all the other ethnic groups- hispanics, blacks, asians, native americans, etc., etc., combined.

if you want to talk about incredible tax breaks seriously- then you need to be talking about the largest corporations in the US and the wealthiest US citizens. how many trillions of dollars are still sitting off-shore after decades by the US richest and most powerful corporations all in order so they can avoid paying tax? https://www.cfr.org/blog/trump-tax-reform-seen-us-balance-payments-data

US also needs put laws in place to clamp down on billionaires taking out ridiculous 0-1% interest loans from banks to fund their lifestyles all in order for them to avoid showing income and avoid paying tax- and also institute some sort of wealth tax- set up a sovereign wealth fund where shares of publicly traded stocks are transferred as a sort of tax- and then the US gov't can either hold these shares and borrow against them or sell them on the open market to generate tax revenue.

Blame immigrants though. :043:

we need to do what the majority of the US citizens want

right now they dont want an open border

I think most Americans welcome legal immigration

Lock down the border and then review our legal immigration program

I don't think anyone is cool with an open border. I do agree the border should be secure to the maximum possible.

And then they should completely overhaul the legal immigration process and make it much easier, much more affordable, and much quicker.

It's not THAT hard to immigrate legally, though I agree many of the steps and the process could be greatly streamlined.  Getting a Green Card is a chore and expensive.

Folks can have to leave the country at a certain point for six months and then return, for no real reason I can fathom (this isn't in every case).

I used to wonder why they checked my passport in France when I was leaving the country.  They don't do that here obviously.  I can't stay in the Zone for over 6 months and they check that.  Had we decided to emigrate over there I would have applied for an EU passport.

as long as its legal and the American voters agree with it no problem

My personal attitude is that we should encourage legal immigration to the extent that it benefits America

Uh yeah, it is pretty god d*mn hard, very time consuming, and very costly. Unless you're very rich- then it's easy and you can just buy your way in by "investing" and "creating jobs" with $900k. Which has been used and abused mostly by rich, corrupt, communist bastards from China looking to get permanent residency in the US.

I know people going through this right now- and COVID has F**KED it and made it even more difficult and lengthy. Like anything this worthless sh*tbag corrupt ineffective bloated bureaucratic federal government does- it's a complete f***king sh*t show freak show.

My wife and step kids went through it, along with several folks I hired when I was working.  Of course for them it was fairly easy because the company took care of it.

It's not easy, it should be streamlined, but plenty of things are tougher, like making a photocopy when you live in the country.

You expect your bullshit to be taken at face value, yet carnival bark at things you know not of. We have middle eastern immigrants here that every 3-4 yrs turn over homes and businesses to family members to avoid certain taxes. As it's a 3 yr stimulus thing. They recieve food stamps and other government stimulation packages. Some yrs ago I went to the local school board and asked why most of the kids were on free food program or SNAP(Supplemental Nutrition Assistence Progam)that parents were and still are driving upscale vehicles and actually owned/operated convenience stores. How does that happen? Well the response was the car was a gift from a family member or some I told the school board that there is nothing wrong with being thrifty but felt they could sell the damn vehicle and buy their own freakin' sandwiches. They shrug their shoulders and say there is nothing they can do.I asked a friend whose wife worked in the county tax assesment office if this was true she said it certainly was but there are varying degrees of compliance. But these shits aren't even trying to hide it.Back about 15 yrs ago some of them were arrested and arraigned on food stamp fraud.

Well they bolted the country less than a week after posting bail to yemen and some other God foresaken Garden Spot. They work more angles than a mob lawyer. But there is a ray of light. A few yrs back some kids from the wrong side of the tracks understood the shady dealings - and while the hard working law abiders who work their asses off as you would have them were either running their stores or attending Mosque their homes were broken into  and the air ducts cut open.Guess what 80,000 dollars in cash went missing in one of the homes, hmmm. Figure it out - ya meaningless, try reading something to completion before ignorantly popping off

That's just it voters don't agree to massive government hand outs. They don't take that to the voters. Those in office make decisions for their own gains and should be put in prison for things like voting themselves free health care. And opening the borders to insure they get more votes - it's criminal. You can then start with the corporate's but they are doing reach arounds with fists full of 50s so even the libs take their cut
