Because they're never exposed to the reality the rest of us share.  They're treated differently (both extremely well and extremely poor) than every other type of person.

He's entitled to his opinion of course.   I can see his point in a broad, but not specific sense, and it's both a public health matter and potentially a judicial matter.

Basically, the purview of any Federal entity is subject to being limited by the Courts.

That is a simple fact of our Constitution.  One could regret that at times, but it's still a fact.
