The only trick to GFCI breakers is that when wired in series the next in the daisy chain has to go in a certain terminal. Not hard really. The other challenge is that it’s physically bigger than the old one and tighter in the box.
Now in places it’s required to use arc fault breakers. I think there is a breaker you can use that is gfci and arc fault in one. It goes in the breaker panel, and you leave your old plugs as is.
I hear they trip a lot on refrigerators and freezers a lot.
