Yeah, it was in the casino of origin, which I am staying at for a few nights via comped room.

The chip was on the dance floor, no where near the tables.

I also found the corner of a $100 bill that appears to have been sent through a paper shredder.

I don't think that they will take that one.

The Fed near us used to allow unguuided tours, which I found interesting, and they give you a bag of money when you depart.

Shredded of course.

You can watch autoguided pallets containing $5-20 million rolling past you (behind heavy glass).  They have a panel on inflation, including the largest known note of any kind from Hungary, 1945-6.

Between the end of 1945 and July 1946, Hungary went through the highest inflation ever recorded. In 1944, the highest banknote value was 1,000 pengő. By the end of 1945, it was 10,000,000 pengő, and the highest value in mid-1946 was 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1020) pengő.

I might have asked already, but have you ever been to the WWII museum in New Orleans. If not, it's a must-go experience.
Unfortunately, I have not. I was in northern Louisiana earlier this year but did not have time to get to the big easy. But hopefully, in the next couple of years I will make my way there.

purchasing a Wagyu steak to grill in your kitchen can cost that much or more
