just because there has been zero impact on global production doesn't mean the oil companies won't use the crap in the media to raise prices

It clearly is not.  Biden's steps have had zero impact on current global production.

Zero.  Precluding fracking on Federal land COULD reduce production in  2-3 years, more likely it will SHIFT production to other than Federal lands, and nonfracking production can continue anyway.  Oil is a global market, and the amount of global oil Biden limited in 2-3 years is trifling.  We're just getting back to "normal" oil prices.

OPEC will start increasing supply soon, if not already.

how can you come to that idea when your own graph shows a direct increase over the last 3 months

how and why would you come to this conclusion that Bidens actions have no affect on prices

The missile attack in Saudi Arabia had a greater impact on oil prices, short term, for a day.  Oil companies do not control oil prices, they wish they did.  OPEC TRIES to control oil prices, that is their function, and even they struggle to manage it.

This is clearly a supply-demand issue.

I doubt I'd use papyrus in all-caps for being average.

I could cite a number of articles by "experts" in the oil market to support my position, but I figure nobody would believe them either.

Yeah, you're out of your depth.
Maybe look up correlation vs causation?  After that, I don't know, maybe just listen more?

LMAO, and there's our problem.  Someone says they're going to "believe what logic and experience and fact dictates," and you reply with this.
You are the problem.

It is in this case. Florida has not touched its rainy day fund at all through this thing, and will not be getting a "blue state" bailout from Biden.

I'm very pissed that my money will still be going to f'ing Illinois even though I don't live there (fled there).
Desantis has done a fantastic job!  Proof is the 1000 new residents a day florida is gaining, the economic boon, and the attempts by CNN to disparage him while not covering Cuomos two major scandals.  😂😂

exactly, oil companies control the price of gasoline.  They own the refineries.

when there's a missle attack or 911 happened, gas prices soared w/o any supply and demand difference in one day or one week.

they look for "opportunities"
headlines such as shutdowns of keystone pipeline or no drilling on federal land are simple opportunities

the blaze might not be the most reliable source..............

Considering that OPEC has raised oil production, one may expect worldwide oil prices to drop.

But Hofmeister told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that Biden's climate policies are offsetting the effects of the global oil market because they hamper domestic energy production.

"The reason gasoline is coming back up is we've been in a shutdown period for many of the refineries, and so that puts a squeeze on what's available in terms of final product," Hofmeister said.

"But there's something else that's going on that's more subtle. What that is, is that the industry, the producers, are practicing serious capital discipline and they're not roaring back to produce more oil. And also, they're getting squeezed by the administration," Hofmeister continued.

Hofmeister explained that Biden's policies have created an environment of fear that drives up oil prices.

"So the ban on leasing — the prohibition on new leases from the Biden administration — that's going to create a psychology in the industry of, 'There's going to be less available,' and the psychology drives the pricing as well," Hofmeister said.

"As long as we see this hostile administration, we're going to have a problem with prices," he added.

The price of gasoline very tightly correlates with the price of oil.  The US produces about 19% of the worlds oil, and about 10% is from Federal lands.  The ban could have some impact in a year or more.

It will shift some production to places like Texas.
