We had so many families and extra pets packed into my house that it was pretty much a slightly controlled riot for about 4 days.

Before all that stuff went down I had considered grabbing my RV and parking it alongside the house.  Now, I wish I'd done just that!

I called our electric supplier and asked if I was going to get an electric bill for thousands like some folks have had happen and they just laughed and told me absolutely not

So 10 days after capsizing their space-aged flying sailboat, the US team got spanked by Italy, but the American ship's peak speed was the highest of the day @ 53 knots (62 mph).  They had a hole in the hull from a ripped-out foil and had to re-wire the entire ship.

It's crazy.

The crane saga is continuing.  Pretty amazing (and expensive) operation.

Crews continue working to bring down unstable crane in Atlanta (fox5atlanta.com)

We live nearly a mile east of this, 5-6 blocks, so it doesn't impact us.

If those are condos well you can damn near double the original sale prices.Unless insurance comes across with the goods - in a huge way

The building to this side is apartments, pretty nice ones.  To the right is Northside Medical Center which we used for our PT and they have a 24/7.  Diagonally across is ICON apartment building which is rather large and has a Whole Foods on three floors at street level.

I don't know if ICON is emptied.  You can get an idea how many apts are in that building.



The crane in this photo would be hidden by the building by next to that apartment building.
