When the restaurants had to close down in March, they had a lot of food delivered or ordered, and "we" combined with a number of them to take that excess food and break it down and repack it into boxes to give away, ostensibly to food industry workers, who now were out of a job.
Fortunately, the weather was very nice, rather sunny, and I got a bit of a burn. We had 30-40 folks working, it was hard work, made about 4,000 boxes of food. The cars were lined up in two lanes to get their box, probably a hundred cars often as not, some expensive cars too.
It was enough to feed a family of four for 2-3 days I think. It generated a LOT of cardboard waste.
