I've never tried Wagyu.  Don't really think it could be that much better than a prime steak from Iowa

I concur, really, but I've had a few steaks and they are really really good, no doubt.  They are like prime cuts but less fatty somehow in my experience.

Are they worth the money to me?  Nope, maybe special occasion worthy, maybe.  I prefer having "more elegant" fare dining out though.  I can do a pretty good steak here.

There is a local steak place called "STK" that we've talked about visiting but have never dined there.  They had a deal on buy a $100 gift card and get a $50 bonus gift card so I did it.  Haven't been yet, the $50 is limited to 3 months after 1/1/21.

I just checked their menu, it ain't cheap at all.  Huh.  Probably be a one time deal for us.

I don't use much salt, plenty of pepper and spice instead
