Heck, I eat snails.  The only major food I dislike is liver, just really dislike it.

Any liver.

I've had brains, cow brains, and they are tasty, but I don't like the imagery.

I've eaten brick mortar.  Tastes nothing like grits.
But it has taste?

I was watching bizarre foods and Zimmern the host was going down the Mississippi and hitting all the towns from Minny to the gulf(it could have been Fieri on D,D &D).I guess they still eat livestock brains but locals call it something else to get around regulations.like you I'm sure I'd like it if i could get past what it really is

Not really.  Grits do though.  Taste like corn.  Imagine that!

I'll eat tripas or sesos or lengua.  Snails too.

I'm not a huge fan of liver on a plate, but I love goose liver or duck liver pate'.  And I'm always down for fried chicken livers.

Hmm. Maybe having Covid 3 times killed my taste about 15 years ago, when I tried the slop. Tasted like nothing, without the butter, salt, pepper, cheese, etc.

Tastes like polenta because they're the same thing.  Both taste like ground corn.  You might or might not like the flavor of ground corn, or you might not find it to be a strong flavor, but there you have it.  That's what ground corn tastes like.

I am open to eating all food. I won't order veal brains again.   I'm cool w offal and sweatbreads.  Didn't like the veal brain.

It now joins tuna salad, tuna steak and butterfingers on my no go menu.

Sweetbreads is the common name for it.
