I think (??) we are the only country that allows for other than in-person voting. That needs to stop. If you want to vote, show up and show your ID.

Dead people voted in Nevada, and I'm sure in many other places. Mayor Daley voted in Chicago, 14 times.

No you were missing it. I really don’t think it has anything to do with defeat.

The original victory came because how those people were being treated. Deplorable‘s and all. And now those people who say those things, and unfortunately they are the ones with the microphones, are turning up the volume instead of turning it down.  I could see unity if that wasn’t happening but the left seems to want their pound of flesh and it will absolutely and certainly backfire on them politically and in other ways

Explain to me what I'm missing.

I said that rage was there beyond four years ago, and you agreed. And you said it will continue after this, so we have that. It wasn't a four-year build, it was longer than that.

And the beauty of it is many loud voices in that 71 million, they said plenty that was going to create rage in the 76 million. We're phenomenally good at pissing each other off. And if the answer is, "well they need to stop first" then we've abdicated all responsibility in our own actions. As I said, someone, somewhere needs to set aside the worries about "those people who say those things" is just a mirror image of each other by and large. Once someone tries that, perhaps we can take steps toward some level of unity.

(Sometimes the best answer is not to talk about that particular subject at all)

I mean, if you live in a place for 14 years, that should be relatively easy.

(The strangest thing about the dead voting is in the modern context, it should be phenomenally easy to prove, and for the most part hasn't been, except for that guy in Pennsylvania)

Your missing or are in denial about what is right in front of your face.

I am not talking about individual people like you and me. I am talking about the people with the microphones.

why do I have to see clips of Hollywood elites, current elected officials, and news anchors saying that those that voted with Trump are despicable human beings, racist, deplorable, and on and on and on, and need to pay. Why are they talking about assembly lists of business owners or staffers from the administration to make sure they don’t get employment? This is just the tip of the iceberg and it is coming from one side and one side only. Please stop pretending that it is not. Saying that you disagree with another side is one thing but actually trying to convince the world that 1/2 of our population are racist, repulsive pigs, is coming from one side.
so what you are saying as I understand it is that it’s not incumbent upon the side that’s saying all of those things to stop saying them but rather it’s incumbent on the receiving people to just turn the other cheek?

If this election taught us anything it should be that the personality of our president was rejected but the policies in many cases that he stands for were not. Americans seem to want moderation. Yet the left is still babbling about what despicable human beings those on the right are. Do I need to attach 50 video clips in the last 24 hours to prove my point?

Maybe what we should do is turn our cheeks to each other. If you can’t acknowledge the rancor of personal attacks on voters coming from ONE side- your living under a rock.

It's not the only way to be sure, which is why almost no other business operates that way. People are doing all sorts of things without showing up in person.

Wow I totally agree with you the reality is this will likely never happen. The barn door has been opened.

you have to give the Democratic Party some credit here. They mastered the art of ballot harvesting back in the 2018 congressional races. In this election they focused so much time on major cities in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
remember what ballot harvesting is. It is mailing out ballots, unsolicited, to millions of voters and then paying a third-party firm to go out and collect them. Whether or not they were actually legitimate ballots is no longer detectable once those ballots are mixed in with the other ballots.

They say that it’s pretty clear that Trump received more in person votes, by a wide wide margin, then any presidential candidate in the history of our country. Just think about that for a minute.

We did not get mailed out ballots in Georgia.  They did make getting an absentee ballot easier.

Biden received more votes than anyone in history. Quite the feat.
