Orlando is nice, just boring as shit with no beaches. Jacksonville is a dump, Tampa is an armpit. South Florida is SUPER freaking nice. Those 4 places probably have 80-90% of the entire states population. There's nice little seaside towns like Destin or Seaside WAY up north. But they are kinda red-necky. There's nice little seaside rich towns on the West Coast like Naples. But they are all SUPER boring.

Most of the state is empty barren wasteland with little to no population and the people that live in those areas are 100% trashbags- but that's true of pretty much any state.
You wrote what I wrote, but longer. You dislike vast tracks of Florida.

Man, the disparity between the median home value and median income in those Cali cities is...something.

Not really. Makes sense. California & Midwest populating that list makes complete sense. Dying states. Rural South makes sense too- cheap ass land with no jobs no money and tons of country bumpkins. What doesn't make sense is those few places in Texas populating that list.
It's weird that you don't differentiate the location of cities in those states, only the states they're in.

The list is
SF
SF suburb
Southwest Kansas small town
Tiny town in eastern North Dakota
West Texas oil town (modest size)
Small Missouri town
Mississippi river town in Iowa that's not very big
Outer Houston suburb
Louisiana oil town
Texas border town
Missouri air force base town
SF/San Jose suburb (not a nice one)
East Texas town that's kinda out there
Mobile, Alabama suburb
Random orange county village

It's an odd mix. I suppose that makes sense that it would be sort of random. Happy to see those numbers drop somewhere near or around SF. That real estate market has been overheated for decades.

So the only worthwhile places are highly-manicured coastal areas where the rich people live?  Got it.

Personally, I hate the long stretches of FL with big, pretty houses lining the beach.  I can't see the ocean and can't access the beach in those areas.

Here in Texas we passed a law called Open Beaches Act way back in 1959 just so you could enjoy the beaches along the gulf coast

even if they have houses bordering it

The Gulf Coast, from Sarasota to Marco, is very nice, and NOT boring. No, we don't have much of what you see below. South Beach can keep that shit, and the gang banging that comes with it.

I've visited uncrowded beaches in Florida, they are there, but kids prefer the other kind.

We visited Miami Beach and it was pretty quiet when we were there.  We stayed across the street from a sliver of a park and then beach.

The wife tripped on a sidewalk and burst an artery in her forehead, and also ruined her shoulder at the same time.  Had an interesting ride in the ambulance, they took good care of her.  She was really  bleeding.

She had the shoulder done last August, the full monte, unlike mine.  She said it was really bad, the recovery.  rotator cuff.

If we expediate climate change, we can raise the sea levels enough to wash away all of those houses.
