NATO countries have agreed to increase their defense spending to 5% of their economic output, a commitment pushed by President Donald Trump for years.

Sometimes, voters learn from mistakes, which of course means they made a mistake in the first place.

If this dude is elected mayor, he would face "reality" that his glorifed plans will run into the face of hard reality.  He probably will make some moves mostly for show early on and then get bogged down, and he would be a lightning rod for anything bad that happens WRT law and order, cost of rent or groceries, etc.

Then disillusionment sets in.  Perhaps NYC has to oscillate between high sounding mayors who screw up and hard core mayors who fix a few things.

fortunately, it's not going to bother me much

In January, McDonald’s ended some of its its specific diversity goals, including requiring its suppliers to commit to certain DEI targets.

The best reason to boycott McDonald's is that it's massively unhealthy.  

Not around here, they've all been defunded.
