Brian Harold May, the legendary lead guitarist of Queen, is a rock icon but also an accomplished astrophysicist. May graduated from the prestigious Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Imperial College London. His passion for science didn’t stop there; he had nearly completed his Ph.D. thesis on infrared astronomical research when Queen’s meteoric rise to fame interrupted his academic pursuits. 

However, May’s dedication to science remained unwavering, and he eventually earned his Ph.D. in astrophysics. His thesis, “A Survey of Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud,” was published, adding to his impressive list of scientific contributions.

He has authored several scientific papers, including publications in renowned journals like Nature and the Royal Astronomical Society's monthly newsletter. Balancing his time between touring with Queen and conducting astronomical research, May exemplifies how one can excel in both the arts and sciences.

How do the people feel about guac on burgers?

I really enjoy it as an option. But I wonder if some find it too non-traditional.

I'm not much of a fan of avocado or guacamole, so no thanks on my burger.

Roasted green chile or poblano, on the other hand, is a definite yes.

Didn't ever eat avocado (or obv guac) until I was 22 and I moved to California. Then I saw the light. 

My folks moved out to CO a few years back, and my dad was complaining "they put avocado on EVERYTHING out here!" Yeah, dad, that's 'cuz it's fcking delicious.

Not going to say that avocado by itself is tremendously high in flavor... But then again neither is butter. Neither one is something you're just going to eat on its own. 

The idea is to use it to add fat and richness to other things.
