I agree.

The airport and TSA probably has themselves to thank for this trend, with the disrobing --- take off your belt, your jacket, your shoes, etc.

While I tend to agree with the PJ's are dumb (sweatpants and sweatshirts I understand), -- what's wrong with Crocs in the airport?

I don't wear them, but seems smart if you have to remove your shoes.  (Yes, mostly you can still wear your shoes of late.)

simple - raise the prices on seats (double them) - then the planes aren't overbooked or even crowded

Right? If you have to practically strip naked to get on the airplane, it makes sense to wear the clothes making that most manageable.

Or you could get Precheck or Global Entry and not have to remove anything. Anyone can get those, unless deemed ineligible.

To a degree, I suppose.

The complaint does get a bit silly when it’s boiled down, but there is a joy in complaining.

Oh boy, it's happening...

AAA is starting to turn into an old man yelling at clouds.

It brings a tear of pride to my eyes.
Im starting to wonder if that’s going to be the most lasting Simpsons-ism.

He means, at the airport.  Due to the government shutdowns reducing staffing and resources, they've paused global entry services for the time being.

Huddy is a super nice guy, I really enjoyed talking pitching with him.  He was one of our coaches.  He played at Auburn, was also a position player.
