You could donate them, as if you never had them in the first place. The pantries would love to be able to hand some out to those in need.
I volunteer at a local, great idea, but ya know he's one of those red squares on that traveling graph in the other thread. So prolly no 😜

Ha!

I promise I'm honoring stay-at-home quite well.

Unfortunately my i s c & a aggie wife is back to work, their clinic reopened last week after 2 weeks of going dark.  They're doing everything they can to limit contact and interaction, wearing masks and changing gloves all the time, and never more than 10 folks in the building at any given time.  But if this thing is as transmissible as SOME say, then simply sharing airspace for 20-30 minutes with an infected person, is enough to catch it.  So our entire family is once again at risk.

We've cut off all physical contact with our parents, who are all aged 77-83.  We facetime and skype with them just about every day of course.  This is all pretty crappy but it's where we're at right now.

I think anyone over 70 or with respiratory problems should be in a hard quarantine now.  Someone can bring them groceries etc. and let it sit in the sun for a bit.  I'm taking general precautions myself.  It's another beautiful day here and sunlight should denature this thing.  The ATL  has gone to a higher level of "stay home" with the usual loopholes that are pretty large.

I would have had a week gap of no TP without having my brother mail me some.  Fun.
.
According to a random site, AZ's corona cases won't peak for 24 days.  Funnnnnn.

Man, it is barely April and it is already scorching hot here.

I'm like a snow bird in reverse. Winter up north, and summer down south.

I think that I am doing it wrong.
After an extremely rainy March, we're off to a cold April in Oklahoma.  Lows just above freezing the past couple of nights.

North Texas is cold too, per my sister who lives just north of Dallas.

Will March rains and April freezes bring May breezes?

This gives you a rough idea of the size of these machines.  They take in pulp in water at one end, the pulp is often around 0.1% consistency with the rest water, and change it into a dried sheet at the other end.  The final roll may be 300 inches across and 15 feet in diameter.  They are quite noisy.

I've seen one of those in action, in Wisconsin. Noisy is an understatement. Deafening is more like it.

Our paper plants had a GE gas turbine that provided power and the waste heat was used to dry the paper.  It was a neat setup, and they sold power back to the utility.  One of our plants was over 1.5 miles long, I drove the car and measured it.  That includes a lot of warehouse space.  When we toured the warehouse I saw the little rail cars and thought it near they had half sized rail cars in the warehouse.

They weren't half sized.

The last I knew a new tissue papermachine cost over $350 million.  We had six at the plant I toured.  The paper we use in printers and whatnot is quite different.

no TP at the grocery yesterday afternoon

10 rolls left upstairs in my house, I imagine the daughter's supply downstairs is running low

when the daughter takes 3 rolls to the basement I'll become concerned, that will put us at about 2 weeks

I'd be sending my daughter out to hunt for the stuff, but that's just me.
