Looks like a weird Elite 8, mainly because of the names, next to the numbers.  Could get a 1-1-2-3 Final Four that wouldn't feel that way, because it would be Gonzaga-Dayton-Creighton-Seton Hall.  Could get the same Final 4, but if it had been Kansas-Baylor-Villanova-Duke, it feels a lot different.

IIRC, the 2018 Final Four (Villanova, Michigan, Kansas, Loyola) was the lowest rated three game weekend in the past 50 years, with the Nova-UM title game being the lowest rated title game ever., but Villanova-Oklahoma, a couple years earlier, in the Final Four is the single lowest Final 4 game.

I think maybe the powers that be at CBS are happy whenever Villanova isn't involved.

Championship Game

Pirates hit a 3 to break a 68-68 tie with just over 3 minutes left for their first lead since it was 9-8.  Dayton couldn't hit threes down the stretch, save for one meaningless one at the buzzer, once they were down 6.

Myles Powell scored 41 in the game, 3 points shy of Bill Walton's record, to win tourney MOP.
