Which B1G teams make the more important bowls? There are a fair number of pretty solid teams this year.
Rose Bowl - Indy loser? Or Michigan if they beat OSU? Is this locked to the CG loser if the winner goes to the playoff?
Cap One - Huh, not very clear.
OSU will beat Michigan this week. Michigan will play in one of the Florida NYD bowls.
I think UW loses to Minnie, which puts them in one of the NYD games in Florida. Minnie will likely go to the Rose Bowl if they either a) beat OSU or b) don't get throttled. If OSU crushes them, PSU would likely get the call, and Minnie would get a different NYD6 bowl game.
So, OSU in the playoff
Minnie and PSU in NYD6 bowl games
UW and Michigan in Florida NYD bowl games
Iowa in the next best bowl game (Holiday), followed by Indiana, in the Music City, MSU, in the Pinstripe, and Illinois in the Redbox.
Nebraska might be able to snag a bowl, at 5-7. Maybe Purdue too, but that means they'd need to beat Indiana. I doubt they will.
I do not see the Big Ten filling all of its tie-ins this season.
