This noon kickoff has me a bit turned around.  The wife is taking the dogs to the vet, so I can't get my normal routine in.  I haven't been to the store.  I have no food.  Luckily, there is beer in the fridge so I may survive.

I think of them as more of a lambo

Looks like I'm going with the Japanese steakhouse thing tonight. I don't have a hibachi grill, but I'll make due. Filet mignon, scallops and shrimp. I'll make a ginger sauce and a mustard sauce for dipping. I'll do the veggies, minus the onion volcano presentation. I'll do fried rice to go with.

Sam you know we don't start tossing back suds until 10:00 am - have some dignity,sheesh

no good plans for food today - I'll come up with something

the butcher in Des Moines was out running errands when I arrived Thursday afternoon, so I didn't get my dry aged bone-in steaks - bummer

I'll be at Miles Inn before 10:30 this morning.  Might spoil myself with a Charlie Boy sammich.

Plan to be in my recliner for the Husker kickoff - we''ll see what happens

Hawk fans won't appreciate me at the bar.  Well, they never seem to appreciate guys dressed in BIG RED!  I'll be pulling for Lovie's crew, not because I hate the Hawks, because I have $$$ on Lovie covering the 14.5

Ha, I see they finally put up our outside perimeter fence up on the south edge of our lot on the path yesterday.  Looks good. These short days, come home and its dark.  Now this house is 'done'.

gotta make one more trip to the store to knock out remaining items for Thanksgiving.  Like hell if I'm going later in the week.
